My Approach
For years, I did what most people do when they decide to “heal.” I read more, understood more, and followed every new framework around trauma and the nervous system. It helped — I became more aware, more regulated, less reactive. But my life didn’t expand. I was calmer, but not stronger.
At some point, it became clear: healing is not the same as becoming capable. You can resolve a lot internally and still avoid pressure, exposure, and responsibility — the very things that actually require strength.
And the world will not correct this for you. There will always be another method, another model, another promise. That cycle doesn’t end, because it runs on your attention, your time, and your money.
At some point, you have to take responsibility for your own capacity. Not all at once, and not by forcing yourself past your limits. This is a gradual process. For some, it starts with getting out of bed or taking a shower. For others, it shows up in relationships, uncertainty, or life transitions. The scale changes, but the principle does not: you begin where you are and expand from there.
Resilience cannot be given to you. Not through insight, a pill, or a quote. It is built through contact with life — through effort, repetition, and staying present when things are uncomfortable or demanding. And it is not built alone. Growth happens in contact, with reflection, and with support.
This is where my work comes in. I work alongside you. We track what your system is actually doing, take small, realistic steps, and build capacity at a pace your system can hold. I reflect back what you cannot always see on your own, so you can move with more accuracy, not more force.
My focus is not endless healing, but the ability to stay intact under pressure and actually participate in life. Because life does not wait for you to feel ready. What becomes available to you depends on what you can hold.
That is the work. And that is what I help you build.
